Walls and Words By T. Crawford-Crawford Art by Lakin Music … Ellen Penose I worship and pray to a wall that does not hear or respond. It has no ears or eyes, no heart or soul. This wall sheds no blood and cries no tears. It simply stands, unmoved, unmotivated, unfeeling, undaunted. At times I have been up against it. At times I have hid behind it. I have at times even chosen to walk around it and climb over it. The wall did not move or flinch. It did not love or hate, laugh or cry. It did however teach me something because I was smart enough to read the writing upon it.
